What is the Entertainer™?
The Entertainer™ is a touch screen operated system that allows you to easily control the music and mood in your establishment. You can also move it so that you can control it from different points around your venue, e.g. behind the bar, in a DJ booth etc.
Who do you cater for, i.e. into what kind of establishments do you fit the system?
We cater for a wide variety of customers, from rural taverns to nightclubs, holiday camps, even cruise ships!
How much does it cost?

I’ve got Sky TV, and an existing sound system in my pub, would the Entertainer™ system be compatible with my venue?
The Entertainer™ can be linked through your existing Sky, and is compatible with most TV and sound systems
I don’t have a TV screen or speakers in my venue, do you supply all the equipment I would need?
We can supply you with Plasma Screens, TVs and complete audio systems to suit your needs.
How is the system installed into my venue?
The system will be completely fitted for you, by a team of Mediatheme™ accredited installers. This can take a couple of hours or one or two days, depending on the complexity of the individual job.
How many tracks are on the system?
There are over 7000 music tracks, 3000 karaoke tracks, and 1500 videos on the Entertainer™. These numbers grow every month as the system is updated.
How is the system updated?
Each month we send you a disk crammed with the latest audio and karaoke tracks, as well as the latest Quiz questions. You will also receive brand new karaoke books each month. If you have the Video Jukebox option, you will receive video track updates every month. We also include fresh advert backgrounds to help you advertise calendar events and your entertainment schedule on your big screens.
Do I need any public licenses?
Yes, there are several licenses you will need for the Entertainer™ system. Please see the attached document by clicking HERE.
I have no experience of running an entertainment night in my pub; can the Entertainer™ work for me?
The great thing about the Entertainer is its simplicity – once the system is loaded up, you can leave it to do the hard work for you. In addition, we will send you copies of our quarterly magazine, Mediatheme™ News, to give you hints and tips to help you make the most of your system, and to help you plan and promote your entertainment schedule.
I am a DJ, can the system be used as a portable one so I can use it in different venues?
Yes, we currently supply several mobile operators. The system can be fitted into flight cases so that it can be easily moved while remaining secure.
Which pub groups do you currently work with?
We have customers in most of the key pub groups and chains, including Greene King, Punch, Enterprise, Scottish and Newcastle, Pontins and Butlins Holiday Parks, and many more
What if I have a technical problem with the system?
You will take out an annual Support Agreement when you first purchase the system, to give you total peace of mind. Our Support Team are here to help you with any technical problems you may encounter, and can repair machines in the office, or send engineers to site where necessary.
You can contact the Technical Support Team on 0191 378 3377 between 9.00am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Out of hours telephone support is provided from 5.30pm - 8.00pm weekdays, and from 11.00am – 8.00pm on the weekends
Can I play my own tracks on the system?
It is possible to connect an external hard disk drive to the Entertainer™ to enable you to play your own songs through the system
